Catherine Hernandez, Partner Student 顾问

Catherine was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. She eventually moved to California where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with an academic focus on subcultures and subcommunities. As an undergraduate student, she also studied abroad for a semester in Thailand, where she developed a passion for international travel and intercultural immersion.  

毕业后, she decided to teach English abroad in Taiwan for a year, which quickly turned into five years of living abroad in Asia. 在此期间, she also received her Master’s degree in International 教育 领导 from Northern Arizona University. In her past work as an Admissions Manager for a global internship provider, Catherine supported students in reaching their global citizenship and professional development goals. She is passionate about encouraging students to immerse themselves in new cultures and get out of their comfort zones. 

In her personal time, she enjoys traveling and has visited many different countries including Mexico, 马来西亚, 新加坡, 柬埔寨, 老挝, 越南, 葡萄牙, 和更多的! She also enjoys reading, 远足和露营, 现场音乐活动, 植物性食物, and spending quality time with her husband and their pet cat.
